Status

Infrastructure for TZ

The overall objective of this task is to bring the roll-out to Phase A villages. As defined in DigI:TT2.1, we have standardised on Mikrotik equipment for the pilot.

  1. RBSXTR&R11e-LTE - 3G/4G modem with directive antenna
    The modem, mounted on an external mast, can enhance the reception by 20-25 dB as compared to a pedestrian, and thus either achieve connectivity or 3-double capacity (European price € 90)
  2. RB921GS-5HPacD-15s - directive transmitter for point to multipoint distribution
    is coupled to the village server to serve secondary reception sites (European prices € 95)
  3. RBSXTsq5nd - directive antenna for
