How to travel to Kjeller
Kjeller is located North of Lillestrøm, and the Campus Kjeller hosts ITS@UiO, Basic Internet Foundation, FFI, Ife, NILU, Kjeller Innovasjon, HiOA and other research organisations.
Travelling from Central Oslo
Train and bus travel information from http://Ruter.no, example: from Oslo to Forskningsparken (Skedsmo)
By train
From Oslo Central Station take a direct train (destination Lillehammer, Eidsvoll, Dal, or Kongsvinger) to Lillestrøm station. The train ride takes 11 minutes, and the trains depart daily every 10 minutes from Oslo Central Station. From Lillestrøm bus terminal, located just outside the train station, take bus #401 (direction Kjeller) or bus #345 (direction Kjeller) or bus #842 (direction Skedsmokorset). Get off at the bus stop Forskningsparken. FFI is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. You may also take a taxi from Lillestrøm station to FFI (approximately 5 minutes).
By bus
From Oslo Bus Terminal take bus #331 via Olavsgaard (Hvam). Change at Olavsgaard to bus
- 842 (direction Lillestrøm). Get off at the bus stop Forskningsparken. FFI is a 2 minute walk
from the bus stop. The bus ride from Oslo to FFI takes approximately 30 minutes.
By car

Travelling from Oslo Airport Gardermoen
By train
Take the Airport Express Train to Lillestrøm station. The train ride takes 12 minutes. The train departs every 20 minutes between Oslo Airport and Lillestrøm. Alternatively, take the cheaper NSB trains departing 2-3 times every hour, using 14 min.
From Lillestrøm bus terminal, located just outside the train station, take bus #401 (direction Kjeller) or bus #345 (direction Kjeller) or bus #842 (direction Skedsmokorset). Get off at the bus stop Forskningsparken. FFI is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. You may also take a taxi from Lillestrøm station to Kjeller (UiO, Basic Internet Foundation) (approximately 5 minutes) or from Oslo Airport to FFI (approximately 25 minutes).
By bus
Take the Airport Express Bus to Olavsgaard (Hvam). The bus ride from Oslo Airport to Olavsgaard takes approximately 25 minutes. Change at Olavsgaard to bus #842 (direction Lillestrøm). Note that you might have to wait at Olavsgaard as the buses do not connect very well. Get off at the bus stop Forskningsparken.
