Background

- 60-80% of energy goes into warming the houses, 280 days/year

- between 2014-2016 all houses will be equipped with smart meters

Vision
Integrated Operations for the Energy Infrastructure of 2020 will allow for
- a combination of sources for energy, including solar, ground,
- societal effects of
- heterogeneous infrastructure "everyone is a producer and consumer"
- novel business models, incentives
- the value for each house owner, regional aspects and the society as a whole
