ANT+ is a radio interface, originally designed as ANT by Garmin, but now released into the ANT+ interest group. It uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band. Most developments are based on sports equipment, e.g. heart rate, speed and cadence sensors. The two types of phones which are supported are the HTC Rhyme and a range of Sony's XPeria phones, including Xperia Active. Through an ANT+ dongle also iPhones can make use of ANT equipment. Step sensors are also available, supported by a.o. the MOTOACTV Fitness tracker
