Purpose
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss
- the follow-up of the connectivity of 20 schools (first phase) in Myanmar
- a common policy for digital inclusion,
- applicability of the approach to other countries, e.g. Ethiopia
As outcome, we agreed to
- form a common policy, seeing that we have overlapp in the ambitions of digital inclusion, especially reaching out to everyone in the society, including the marginalised groups
- prepare for connecting 20 schools in Myanmar (to be discussed with Adra Myanmar) prior to establishing the selection of the schools and the measurements needed to establish an InfoSpot
- Look for collaborations in other countries like Ethiopia
- discuss further the National Knowledge Portal, as an entry point for digital inclusion (free access to the National Knowledge Portal) and quality information

Specific questions:
- Monthly charge for Premium services: We use vouchers to enable premium access to Internet. These vouchers can be administrated by local people ("generate vouchers"), to give e.g. 1h, 4h, 24h access to Internet. - In that case, the network bundle need to be extended from e.g. 10 GB to 20, 50, 100 or unlimited GB. - The price of the access depends on the rate of Telecom operators.
- Social marketing and business opportunities: Yes, the hot-spot provision can be the starting point for local business, e.g. registration, governmental contact, or other duties
- Course about local establishing of an information spot, as well as wireless networks: Yes, let's develop. A good starting point is the DigI:TZ-Hackathon_Feb2020, where we collected communities from 5 countries to learn how to establish community networks.
