Note on Bandwidth usage
In general, you can estimate the amount of bandwidth a session will require using these data-usage averages:
- Webcam sharing (HDFaces) = 700 Kbps (0.7 Mbps)
- Screen sharing = 40 Kbps (0.04 Mbps)
- Computer audio (VoIP) = 40 Kbps (0.04 Mbps)
In general, it's recommended that you have at least 1 Mbps of bandwidth available if you plan to use all 3 of those features during a session. Less bandwidth will still work, but the session performance may suffer because of it. More bandwidth will provide a superior experience.
