INTEGY - Integrated Operations for the Energy Infrastructure of 2020

Background

  • Norwegian houses are "self-owned" (85%?)
  • 60-80% of energy goes into warming the houses, 280 days/year
  • the average spending of a house owner on the house infrastructure is around 60 kNOK per year ([ref])
  • between 2014-2016 all houses will be equipped with smart meters
  • communication with the infrastructure of the house is already ongoing: "ring hytta varm", iAlarm

Vision

Integrated Operations for the Energy Infrastructure of 2020 will allow for

  • a combination of sources for energy, including solar, ground,
  • societal effects of
  • heterogeneous infrastructure "everyone is a producer and consumer"
  • novel business models, incentives
  • the value for each house owner, regional aspects and the society as a whole

  • a vision of the energy infrastructure of 2020
  • micro-economic model for a house owner, including
    • upgrade tool for comparing your house with similar houses
    • suggestion for ENØK tasks
  • macro-economic models for an energy mix
