The Research Council of Norway (RCN) is supporting the project "Prevention of hyperglycemia in antenatal care overusing tailored communication strategies and mobile learning devices". The project start was 01Apr2014, and project will use Apps for tablet and mobile phone to inform / motivate pregnant women to diet and lifestyle to prevent from high sugar level. The project is headed by Mirjam Lukasse from HiOA.

The project also planned electronic questionnaires. Within the project we collaborate with UiO/UNIK by Josef Noll, who in topics related to "mobile and internet technology, mobile applications and safety evaluation." Mirjam Lukasse is responsible for the content and design, Josef Noll for implementation and programming of the technology. UNIK has become a partner in the NFR project, focusing on app development and technology assessments. The project is seen as part of health technology strategy at HiOA. Information and training of pregnant going to become a part of the education section of Basic Internet movement, to bring basic information to the portion of the world population that does not have access.
