Q: Who are we?

A: Movation was founded in 2005 by 7 of the leading telecom and IT companies in Norway in order to foster open innovation. In 2009 the company was transferred into a privately-owned and independent company, owned by the employees in the company.

Q: Does Movation own stocks on companies on the InnoBors?

A: No. We will act as the connecting point, such that good ideas can meet innovative partners and competent captital. This capital will come from the Norwegian Business Angles (NorBAN - http://www.norban.no) and other investors.

Q: Where does the name "InnoBors" comes from?

A: Our idea is a marketplace for Innovative ideas (=Inno). We use the continental European description Börse (.de), Beurse (.fr), børs (.no) for the market place, thus InnoBors. In English we would describe the InnoBors as Stock Exchange.

Services on the InnoBors

Q: Which services does Movation provide on the InnoBors?

A: The services provides on the InnoBors depend on the type of membership. Everyone can sign up as a member. Each member can participate in the InnoBors, and can register an idea. Selected members of the InnoBors will be assigned as "Movation ambassadors", our business angles are collected under the title "NorBAN". Our corporate partners are connected through the "Inner Circle Partner" agreement, and we have signed a "strategic partnership" with selected actors to evolve our innovation stock exchange concept.

Q: Who can become a Movation member?

A: The membership in Movation is open for everyone. Just register at http://innobors.no, or use your LinkedIN membership for getting access to the stock exchange. We have a strategic partnership with Mobile Monday and First Tuesday, and will extend towards other social media.

Q: What happens with my idea?

A: Everyone can create an idea. This idea is treated as "privat" and restricted to you, until you declare it to become a "noted idea". We suggest to note your idea, as it will provide visibility, guarantee the freedom to operate, and you can invite others to promote your idea and provide you with feedback. The fee for listing an idea is 300 € (~2500 NOK). The ultimate goal of you idea is to become a "listed idea", which will provide you with a scoring of your idea. The scoring includes a 2 hour workshop with our experts, such that you get a qualified feedback on your idea and the aspects of team, technology, market, and other areas. Such a scoring costs 3000 € (~25000 kNOK).
