Hydration
The goal of the hydration feature is to show the user how much fluid intake they need during or after a workout, to compensate for the sweat they lost, including:
- Intensity
- Time
- Temperature
- Weight
Calories burned
Endomondo uses the following data: body measurements (height, weight, age, gender), sport, distance, time, speed and heart rate for calculating the burned calories.
Both methods use: weight, height, age, gender and duration. In addition
- if heart rate is monitored, then heart rate is used.
- if heart rate is not monitored, then sport and distance are used.

Calories measured using MET value
The calories burned can be derived from the updated MET values, corrected by the Harris Benedict equation.
- Male = 66.4730 + 5.0033 (Height cm) + 13.7516 (Weight kg) – 6.7550 (Age yr)
- Female = 655.0955 + 1.8496 (Height cm) + 9.5634 (Weight kg) – 4.6756 (Age yr)
The calculation methods are based on

Fitness
based on regeneration within 1 minute (pulse reduction). Does it depend on pulse related to max pulse?
max pulse
need own training programme to achieve this value
