Agenda
- Welcome
- Table round
- KPI digital literacy and inclusion paper discussion
- setting up the structure - best praxis on digital literacy indicators - setting up the assignments: Danica will cover Africa, Sarbani - India, for related projects on digital literacy on measuring the impact and success
- we both agreed that KPI framework is only possible to draft after the results directly from the field. We are waiting for the preliminary results from the interviews and surveys to come.
- deriving indicators from the ground. Ask Maurice to install a tracking app/software on the website and tablets, goal to track how people from the villages are using the website, health messages, and connectivity? Can Maurice upload a software in the tablet that can keep tracking the users/ the usage?
- Danica joined DITA at IEEE, as a digital inclusion Digi advisor, those are two workstreams 'Affordability' and 'Accessibility' as part of the Industry Connections (IC) Digital Inclusion through Trust and Agency (DITA). http://standards.ieee.org/develop/indconn/digital_inclusion/.
- Danica has an idea on including Internet Light for All into IEEE standards. Further work would develop a long-term strategy on developing the standard, showcasing the results and best praxis, and submitting to IEEE committee.
