Agenda (tentative)

The goal of the expert meeting is to discuss experiences from transforming health into digital health, and to identify opportunities and strategies for Digital Global Health for All. Experts from both Germany, Norway, and Tanzania will report from their experiences in digitisation of hospitals, information reach-out and involvement of health workers, patients, and the societal benefits from digital health.

14:00h Welcome to the Neuro-Kopf-Zentrum (Prof. Hemmer)
14:05h "Digital empowerment and inclusion - a Norwegian perspective" (Prof. Josef Noll, UiO)
Prof. Noll from the University of Oslo, Department of Technology Systems, is project leader of the "Non-discriminating access for Digital Inclusion" (DigI) project. He is also Secretary General of the Basic Internet Foundation, established by UiO and Kjeller Innovasjon to foster "Internet lite for all.
14:22h Data integration and Data Sharing (Prof. Bernhard Hemmer, TUM) - (tbc)
Prof. Hemmer is Director of the Neurology Clinic at TUM's rechts der Isar clinic since 2007. He specializes in the field of neuroimmunology.

Dr. Ngowi is director at the National Institut for Medical Research (NIMR) in Tanzania, and will report from his health-related experiences in Tanzania, and how digital health increased the reach-out to the local population

16:12h Global Preparedness and Digital Health (Elibariki Mwakapeje, MoH)
Mr Mwakapeje, working at the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Tanzania, is involved in medical preparedness, e.g. Anthrax. He is currently preparing the roll-out of information kiosks in Northern Tanzania, and will report from his experiences.
