Addressing of sensors and actuators in SCO … Addressing of sensors and actuators in SCOTT in a non-trivial issue given the fact that different access networks may be used and sensors/actuators should be movable from one network to another. Existing limitations of current access networks (e.g. private IPv4 addresses, limited IPv6 availability, CGNAT in mobile networks, enterprise networks with tight security, non-IP networks) make it difficult to identify nodes.
