Comments to the Internet.org app
Basic Internet evaluation
Facebook addresses an important segment, people having a mobile subscription but "no money for data". Opera has similar services out, e.g. a week of free access using the Opera’s Sponsored Web Pass in Turkey and other countries.
These collaborations are based on the availability of mobile networks, and the subscription to mobile data. Having this subscription a customer can then surf a number of sites (Internet.org) og a certain time (Opera) free of charge.
Our Basic Internet approach differs as we provide sponsored access to free Basic Internet through Wifi zones. Users need to walk to a Wifi access, but can then use their mobile phone or the tablet without the fear of being charged for the usage.
