  • Get an introduction to Mobile IP (MIP)
  • Learn how Mobile IPv6 handles the challenges associated with MIPv4


  • Get hand-on experience from design and simulation of 2.4 GHz antennas

  • Difference between Mobile IP-based handover and GSM/UMTS-based handover
  • Can explain the function of a Home Agent and a Foreign Agent
  • Know what triangular routing is, and can explain how it is handled in Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6
