Abstract
How can we bring high availability to the home IP network? To develop and deliver new services and improve service quality, ISPs must know their customers and their needs better. They also need a robust home infrastructure to build on, to ensure coverage and stability on the home wireless network. User needs are already beyond what most home wireless setups can support.
About the Author
Geir Arne Rimala has worked in networking solutions since 1997, for companies such as device manufacturer ZyXEL and ISP Broadnet. He is now technical manager at Eye Networks, helping Norwegian ISPs design, configure, and troubleshoot their solutions, and taking part in developing the new cloud service platform EyeSaaS.
