Info about Autonomous activities at Sichuan
Our interests are mainly focused on the autonomous vehicle driving and related topics, e.g. sensor fusion, information safety, V2X communication etc. As for the research areas of the Automotive Research Institute of Southwest Jiaotong University, currently we pay much attention to the following areas:
- 1. Autonomous vehicle driving: environment sensing, intelligent decision and control, 5G communication and satellite network, vehicle trajectory planning; Chinese intelligent monitoring and control systems for autonomous vehicle driving on highway.
- 2. New energy vehicles: power battery management systems (BMS), vehicle electronic control, in-wheel driving vehicles control, etc.
- 3. Conventional vehicle fuel saving and emission control to meet EU6 emission regulations.
I will present the above items in some details during my visit to Prof. Noll's ITS-group. Attached please find a brief introduction to Sichuan Provincial Automotive Industry.
